Before moving, record the whole offer
An offer is more than a folder of videos. List its lessons, downloads, public sales pages, customer records, active subscriptions, purchase emails and access rules. Add the person responsible for each item and the original location. Mark which materials you own or have permission to transfer. This is a working inventory, not an instruction to export private customer information into a public tool. Keep personal records in your existing protected systems.
Match the supported migration service
Podia documents migration of eligible products and customer email information, with product limits by paid plan. It does not promise that every feature of your old system transfers. Quizzes, website pages, pipelines and payment arrangements need particular attention. Ask about unusual content before cancelling the old service. A migration-service allowance is not evidence that a specific transfer has completed or that the new customer experience is identical.
Prepare exceptions before the cutover
Give every unsupported item a disposition: rebuild, retain elsewhere, replace with a simpler equivalent, or retire with an appropriate explanation. For example, a course quiz may need manual reconstruction while a recurring charge stays with the original provider until its payment plan is resolved. Record links embedded in already-sent emails. A new domain can leave those messages pointing to an address you no longer control.
Verify the result against the inventory
Check a permitted representative sample of files, lessons, customer access states and public links. Compare the new experience with the promises on the sales page rather than merely counting imported products. Preserve the original materials until the acceptance checks and ongoing payment responsibilities are understood.
