Prepare the information each medium must carry
A video should show or explain something that benefits from that format. Text can provide a reference the learner returns to, and a worksheet can support application. Avoid making the buyer extract essential instructions from a decorative image or a rushed screen recording. Before production, identify which information is visual, spoken or written and how a person using another mode will receive the same essential explanation. This is easier than repairing the entire course later.
Plan alternatives and readable presentation
W3C media guidance explains the roles of captions, transcripts and descriptions in accessible audio and video. Use the appropriate alternatives for your material and check their accuracy rather than trusting automatic output unreviewed. Keep on-screen text large enough to read and describe important actions. A caption file does not fix an unclear demonstration; a transcript does not automatically explain visual information that was never spoken. Review the actual learning task, not just the asset checklist.
Inspect files outside the original editing environment
Open exported files on a clean setup and check that they do not rely on missing fonts, private paths or unsupported software. State any required application version or dependency before purchase where it matters. Keep source files and a dated inventory separately from the public package. If you distribute third-party material, verify the relevant rights. Being able to upload a file to Podia does not establish permission to sell or redistribute it.
Test and verify a representative media sample
Check one lesson with video, one text-heavy section and one downloadable artifact before repeating the workflow across the product. Review navigation, playback, captions, file names and the next action. A successful sample does not excuse checking the remaining files for missing or broken content.
